HOW TO MAKE CHINESE BBQ PORK CHAR SIU
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb of Pork Shoulder Meat
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 3 Tablespoon of Sugar
- 3 Tablespoon of Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoon of Hoisin Sauce
- 1/4 Teaspoon White Pepper
- 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/4 Teaspoon 5 Spice Powder
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1 – MARINATING THE PORK
- In a bowl, add pork, salt, sugar, ketchup, hoisin sauce, white pepper, black pepper and 5 spice powder and let it marinate overnight.
STEP 2 – COOK THE PORK
- Set the Oven for 450 Degrees and leave the pork in the oven for a total of 1 hour, but also remember to turn the meat over after the first 30 minutes.
