Salmon With Sa Cha Sauce

 

SALMON WITH SA CHA SAUCE

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 oz of Salmon
  • 6 oz of Broccoli
  • 1 oz of Carrots
  • 1 oz of Onions
  • 2 Slices of Ginger
  • 1/4 Cup of Water
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sa Cha Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Corn Starch
  • 2 Tablespoon of Water
  • 1 Pinch of salt
  • 1 Pinch of white pepper
  • 2 Tablespoon of Corn Starch
  • 1 Tablespoon Cooking Sherry Wine

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1 – SAUCE

  • In a bowl, add the 1/4 cup of water, sugar, sa cha sauce, oyster sauce and mix together

STEP 2 – THICKENING AGENT FOR SAUCE

  • Whisk together 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 Tablespoon of water in a bowl

STEP 3 – SEASONING THE SALMON

  • On a plate, add salmon, salt, white pepper, and corn starch
  • Then mix together well

STEP 4 – BOIL THE BROCCOLI

  • Boil the broccoli for 1-3 minutes depending on how tender you like it.

STEP 5 – DEEP FRY THE SALMON

  • Deep fry the salmon at 350F degrees until it’s golden brown.

STEP 6 – STIR FRY

  • In a wok, add onions, ginger, and broccoli
  • Then add the salmon and stir fry
  • add sherry cooking wine to the stir fry
  • Next add the premade sauce from step 1
  • Add the thickening agent slowly to your stir fry until the sauce is to the preferred thickness.
