PORK CHOW MEIN
INGREDIENTS
- 3 Cups of diced celery
- 3 Cups of water
- Boil for 20-30 minutes
- 1/2 pound of ground pork
- 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup of water + 1/3 cup of water + 2 tablespoon water
- 1/4 Teaspoon sugar
- 2 Tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 2 Tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1 – DICE THE CELERY
- Dice the celery and wash the celery several times in a strainer
STEP 2 – COOK THE PORK
- In a pot add ground pork, black pepper and 1/3 cup of water and cooked all the way through
STEP 3 – BOILING THE CELERY
- In a pot add your celery to boiling water untill the celery are submerged and boil on high heat for 20 to 30 mins or until the celery is soft.
- Once the celery is soft add to the pot pork, 1 Cup of water, sugar, oyster sauce and soy sauce
- To thicken the sauce, whisk together 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 Tablespoon of water in a bowl and slowly add to your stir fry until it’s the right thickness.
- Add some hard noodles on the plate and then add the chow mein on top of the hard noodles
