PEANUT BUTTER CHICKEN BROCCOLI

 

SZECHUAN GREEN BEANS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoon of honey
  • 2 Tablespoon of Rice Vinegar
  • 8 Tablespoon of water
  • 1 egg
  • 5 Tablespoon Corn Starch
  • 6oz of chicken
  • 1 Tablespoon of oil
  • 1/4 cup diced white onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced red peppers

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1 – SAUCE

  • In a bowl mix together 1/2 cup of peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar and water slowly to the sauce

STEP 2 – BOILING THE BROCCOLI

  • In a 6 qt pot add your broccoli to boiling water untill the broccoli are submerged and boil on high heat for 1 mins. After your broccoli is done boiling strain and cool with cold water.

STEP 3 -MARINATING THE CHICKEN

  • In a bowl add chicken, 5 Tablespoon of corn starch, 1 egg and mix together well.

STEP 4 -DEEP FRY THE CHICKEN

  • Deep fry the chicken for 2-3 minutes untill the chicken turns golden brown and set aside

STEP 5 – STIR FRY

  • In a wok add 1 Tablespoon of oil, diced white onions, red peppers.
  • Then add broccoli and the sauce
  • To thicken the sauce, whisk together 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 Tablespoon of water in a bowl and slowly add to your stir-fry until it’s the right thickness.
