HONEY CHICKEN RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 Cup of honey
- 2 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
- 6 oz of Chicken
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of white pepper
- 1 Egg
- 4 Tablespoon Corn Starch
- 1 Teaspoon of Minced Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon of Minced Ginger
- 1/4 spoon of hot pepper sauce
- 2 tablespoon water
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1 -SAUCE
- In a bowl, add the honey, apple cider vinegar and soy sauce and mix together
STEP 2 – MARINATING THE CHICKEN
- In a bowl, add chicken, salt, white pepper, 1 egg, and 3 Tablespoons of Corn Starch
- Then mix together well
STEP 3 – DEEP FRY THE CHICKEN
- Deep fry the chicken at 350 degrees for 1.5 minutes
STEP 4 – STIR FRY
- In a wok add minced garlic, minced ginger, hot pepper sauce, and the pre-mixed sauce.
- Then add the chicken and stir-fry
- To thicken the sauce, whisk together 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 Tablespoon of water in a bowl and slowly add to your stir fry untill it’s the right thickness.
