HONEY CHICKEN RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 Cup of honey
  • 2 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
  • 6 oz of Chicken
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of white pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 4 Tablespoon Corn Starch
  • 1 Teaspoon of Minced Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon of Minced Ginger
  • 1/4 spoon of hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoon water

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1 -SAUCE

  • In a bowl, add the honey, apple cider vinegar and soy sauce and mix together

STEP 2 – MARINATING THE CHICKEN

  • In a bowl, add chicken, salt, white pepper, 1 egg, and 3 Tablespoons of Corn Starch
  • Then mix together well

STEP 3 – DEEP FRY THE CHICKEN

  • Deep fry the chicken at 350 degrees for 1.5 minutes

STEP 4 – STIR FRY

  • In a wok add minced garlic, minced ginger, hot pepper sauce, and the pre-mixed sauce.
  • Then add the chicken and stir-fry
  • To thicken the sauce, whisk together 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 Tablespoon of water in a bowl and slowly add to your stir fry untill it’s the right thickness.
