Beef Curry Stir
Fry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 sliced beef
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of sesame seed oil
  • 1 pinch of white pepper
  • 1/2 egg
  • 1.5 Tablespoon of corn starch
  • 5 Tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 Cup onions
  • 1/2 Cup Celery
  • 1/2 Cup Green Peppers
  • 1 Cup Peapods
  • 2 Tablespoon sherry cooking wine
  • 1/2 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 2 Teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce

Directions:

Step 1 - Marinating the Beef

  • In a bowl, add the beef, salt, white pepper, sesame seed oil, 1/2 egg, and 1.5 Tablespoon corn starch and 1 Tablespoon of oil.
  • Mix them all together

Step 2 - Stir-Fry

  • In a wok, add 2 Tablespoons of oil and next add the marinated beef and cook until it is golden brown and next set beef aside.
  • In a wok add 2 Tablespoon of oil, minced ginger and minced garlic, add the onions, celery, green peppers, sherry cooking wine, sugar, oyster sauce, 1/2 cup of water and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  • Next add the peapods, curry powder and the beef to wok, soy sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute.
