CHINESE STEAMED CHICKEN WINGS
INGREDIENTS
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 3 shiitake mushrooms
- 1/4 Cup Chopped green onions
- 3 Tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 3 Tablespoon cooking wine
- 1 Teaspoon sugar
- 2 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 Tablespoon corn starch
- 1 Tablespoon white pepper
- 1 Tablespoon sesame seed oil
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1 – CUTTING THE CHICKEN WINGS AND SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS
- Cut the tips of the chicken wings off and place them in a ceramic tray. Next slice up the shiitake mushrooms and place them on top of the chicken wings and some green onions
STEP 2 – MARINATING THE CHICKEN WINGS
- Add oyster sauce, cooking wine, sugar, soy sauce, ginger, corn starch, white pepper and sesame seed oil
STEP 3 – STEAM THE CHICKEN WINGS
- Have boiling water ready in a wok or pot and place the ceramic tray with the chicken wings on top of a steaming rack stand.
- Next place a cover on top wok or pot and let it steam for 20 minutes
