CHICKEN FEET RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- 12 Chicken feet
- 5 Slices of ginger
- 2 Tablespoon of cooking sherry wine
- 1 Tablespoon of chopped green onions
- 2 Cups of water
- 1 Teaspoon of chili bean sauce (lee kum kee)
- 1 Teaspoon of sweet bean sauce (lee kum kee)
- 2 Tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 Teaspoon of brown sugar
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1 – BOIL THE CHICKEN FEET
- Put 2 slices of ginger in hot boiling water
- Add the chicken feet to the boiling water and let it boil for 2 minutes
- Remove the chicken feet and put it aside
STEP 2 – MAKE THE SAUCE FOR THE CHICKEN FEET
- In a bowl add 2 cups of water, chili bean sauce, sweet bean sauce, oyster sauce and brown sugar
- Mix the sauce together evenly
STEP 3 – STIR FRY CHICKEN FEET
- Add some cooking oil, 3 slices of ginger, chicken feet and cooking sherry wine to the wok and stir fry the chicken for a couple minutes
- Next add the sauce and place a cover over and wait until the sauce is boiling
- Once the sauce is boiling, turn the heat on low and let it slow boil for 45 minutes
- After the 45 minutes, add the chopped green onions and stir the chicken feet for a couple minutes
