Chicken Feet Recipe

 

CHICKEN FEET RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 Chicken feet
  • 5 Slices of ginger
  • 2 Tablespoon of cooking sherry wine
  • 1 Tablespoon of chopped green onions
  • 2 Cups of water
  • 1 Teaspoon of chili bean sauce (lee kum kee)
  • 1 Teaspoon of sweet bean sauce (lee kum kee)
  • 2 Tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon of brown sugar

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1 – BOIL THE CHICKEN FEET

  • Put 2 slices of ginger in hot boiling water
  • Add the chicken feet to the boiling water and let it boil for 2 minutes
  • Remove the chicken feet and put it aside

STEP 2 – MAKE THE SAUCE FOR THE CHICKEN FEET

  • In a bowl add 2 cups of water, chili bean sauce, sweet bean sauce, oyster sauce and brown sugar
  • Mix the sauce together evenly

STEP 3 – STIR FRY CHICKEN FEET

  • Add some cooking oil, 3 slices of ginger, chicken feet and cooking sherry wine to the wok and stir fry the chicken for a couple minutes
  • Next add the sauce and place a cover over and wait until the sauce is boiling
  • Once the sauce is boiling, turn the heat on low and let it slow boil for 45 minutes
  • After the 45 minutes, add the chopped green onions and stir the chicken feet for a couple minutes
