BEEF CURRY STIR FRY RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 lb sliced beef
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 Teaspoon of sesame seed oil
- 1 pinch of white pepper
- 1/2 egg
- 1.5 Tablespoon of corn starch
- 5 Tablespoon oil
- 1/2 Cup onions
- 1/2 Cup Celery
- 1/2 Cup Green Peppers
- 1 Cup Peapods
- 2 Tablespoon sherry cooking wine
- 1/2 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 Cup water
- 2 Teaspoons curry powder
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1 – MARINATING THE BEEF
- In a bowl, add the beef, salt, white pepper, sesame seed oil, 1/2 egg, and 1.5 Tablespoon corn starch and 1 Tablespoon of oil.
- Mix them all together
STEP 2 – STIR-FRY
- In a wok, add 2 Tablespoons of oil and next add the marinated beef and cook until it is golden brown and next set beef aside.
- In a wok add 2 Tablespoon of oil, minced ginger and minced garlic, add the onions, celery, green peppers, sherry cooking wine, sugar, oyster sauce, 1/2 cup of water and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Next add the peapods, curry powder and the beef to wok, soy sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute.
