EGG CUSTARD CRESCENT ROLLS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/4 Cup of milk
  • 1/4 Cup of milk
  • 1/2 Cup of heavy Whipping cream
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar
  • 5 Egg yolks
  • 1/4 Cup of Melted unsalted butter
  • 1/4 Cup of corn starch
  • 1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 Can of Crescents

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1 – THICKENING AGENT FOR THE EGG CUSTARD CRESCENTS

  • Take 1/4 Cup of milk and mix it in with 1/4 cup of cornstarch and set it aside

STEP 2 – COOKING THE CUSTARD FILLING

  • In a wok or pan add 1 1/4 Cup of milk in with heavy whipping cream, sugar, egg yolks, melted butter and the vanilla extract
  • Once it starts boiling, add the cornstarch milk mixture in while stirring to prevent it from burning the custard
  • Put custard filling in the fridge and let it cool down

STEP 3 – ROLLING UP THE CRESCENT ROLLS

  • Put some of the custard filling onto the bigger side of the crescent roll Triangle sheet and roll it up

STEP 4 – AIR FRYING THE EGG CUSTARD CRESCENT ROLLS

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 Degrees
  • Once the air fryer is preheated, put the custard crescent rolls into the air fryer and air fry them at 400F for 5 minutes
