DEEP FRIED OYSTERS RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- 8 oz Oysters
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch of white pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 Tablespoon of Corn Starch
- 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
- 3/4 Teaspoon of Salt
- 2 Tablespoon egg
- 6 Tablespoon Water
- 1 pinch of white pepper
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1 -RINSE THE OYSTERS
- In a bowl, add 1 Teaspoon salt and run water slowly from the faucet into the bowl of oysters until the water is clear.
- set the oysters aside
STEP 2 -MAKE THE BATTER
- In a bowl, add flour, corn starch, baking powder, salt, egg, water and mix together well.
STEP 3 – BOIL THE OYSTERS
- In hot boiling water, boil the oysters for 3 seconds.
- Remove the oysters and sprinkle 1/2 Teaspoon of salt and white pepper and mix together well.
STEP 4 – DEEP FRY THE OYSTERS
- Next set the deep fryer at 350 degrees
- Add the oysters to the batter and deep fry the oysters until they are golden brown and serve on a plate.
